The '79 MGB LE 3900 conversion keeps moving along. Estimated horsepower to be around 275.

Updates:

5/10/11

It's been a while since the last update.  During this time a Spec Stage 3+ clutch kit was installed, front suspension was rebuilt using poly bushings, front brakes were rebuilt using drilled/slotted rotors and premium pads and the interior was spruced up with new seat covers, carpet and door panels.  The poor flowing LZ9 upper intake was removed and an open plenum style intake from a LZ4 was installed.  The LZ9 intake provides a slight torque increase at low RPMs but is very restrictive at upper RPMs.

Took it out for some test drives and and data logging. Still needs quite a bit of tuning but it's fairly fast considering the tuning. Took a few pictures and videos.

It lives. Rough tuned ECM to get engine to idle. Still need to button up a few things and start fine tuning the ECM.

8/28/09

Finished the underhood wiring, mounted plenum, double checked all fasteners, clamps and fittings in engine bay, installed filler for shifter hole in tunnel, filled & bled both hydraulic systems, mounted relay panel and fuse block behind glove box and started making connections. The end is getting closer.
